I know it's different because he lived much later into actual modernism. I don't have a particular piece in mind, but I once attended a concert and the only words I could find to describe his music is "post modern", even almost "cyberpunk". Totally different direction, but another composer that I recognize as being out of this world is Rachmaninov. Obviously, all the known classical composers have reached mastership, or otherwise we would have long forgotten about them, but some hit different. Yeah, I mostly listen to Techno ) but I'm also an artist, so I recognize creative mastership when it hits me.
