In other news, the latest Ghost of Tsushima: Legends patch has introduced a new Custom Mode option for Platinum Survival, bringing up to four difficulty modifiers and three Nightmare hazards into a match. While Fortnite continues to hold top spot in both regions, the rest of the chart is less predictable. Elsewhere, Grand Theft Auto V continued to sell strongly, while Horizon Zero Dawn enjoyed a revival due to the imminent release of the sequel.īeat Saber continues its dominance of this category. PS5Īs well as the success of Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, and Dying Light 2, the top five was completed by a solid debut from Sifu and the native PS5 debut of Cyberpunk 2077.Įlden Ring was not as popular on PS4 in Europe, its only drop out of the top 3.

All categories have separate US/Canada and EU lists. Hard lesson though. As usual, the PlayStation Store charts are split into PS5 games, PS4 games, PSVR games, and free-to-play (PS5 and PS4). I upgraded the PS4 game version to PS5 yesterday and made sure I chose that option and everything went fine. Where I messed up was I believe was in the opening/title screen where Continue, Load, Options etc are, there is an option to load the save data from PS4 to PS5 and I missed that so that's how I messed up. I lost everything I'd previously acquired. Lo and behold when the game loaded it loaded with no save and started from the very start so I had to start all over again from fresh. When I fired up the PS5 and loaded Ghost of Tsushima and selected to load the saved game it asked if I wanted to save progress and I said no, which I usually do and simply load the game.

First game I wanted to continue playing was Ghost of Tsushima with everything upgraded to the max (armor, weapons, charms et al).

So when I got the PS5 and completed the set up process, one of the first things I did was to download the save data from the cloud to the PS5's internal system drive which was all well and good. I have PS+ so I knew I had coping of my save data automatically unloaded to the cloud. One thing I was concerned about was losing my save game progress for my games going from PS4 to PS5. I'm really enjoying my new PS5 after finally getting it last Friday. Very strange though the region mix up with God of War.
